Cyprus ideal sporting destination
Cyprus ideal sporting destinationCyprus has been named as a leading hotspot for overseas property investment by Channel 4's popular A Place in the Sun.

The country has been praised for its ongoing development as a key tourist destination as well as its ongoing improvements in leisure facilities such as quality golf courses and outdoor activity centres, reports property experts Assetz.

A number of future projects are already planned for Cyprus and this could ensure that the region continues to attract high numbers of overseas visitors looking for high-quality accommodation and an action packed holiday.

In particular, plans to build a new airport terminal at Paphos is likely to dramatically increased tourist numbers as well as providing the opportunity for more budget airline carriers to offer low-cost flights to the region.

The Cyprus tourist board estimate that over 2.4 million people visit the country each year to not only enjoy the stunning beaches and sporting activities but also to experience the region's culture and historic sites.
