“Hard to surpass this wonderful place to stay” We returned to this villa, having previously visited in 2011. In 20 years of holidays it's the only place where we have really felt compelled to return: the welcome is magnificent, with an incredible spread of local food on arrival and the friendly smile of the owner, a beautifully presented and very well-equipped house and garden in an outstanding position with amazing view, lots to see and do including beaches, ancient sites, the Zingaro, the list goes on and on. We plan to return yet again, and would thoroughly recommend this wonderful place.

“Lovely house, wonderful location, friendly host” I had spent ages trying to find the perfect place to stay in Sicily and finally settled on Villa dell Palme, largely because the owner seemed so friendly and helpful and the location looked perfect. It did not disappoint. The house is lovely with everything you need and two lovely gardens and a terrace. It is so well located - 5 minutes walk to a great little beach that was never too busy (although you will get fit walking up the hill again), 10 minutes to the glorious beaches of Lo Zingaro and 10 minutes to the charming village of Scopello with its lovely restaurants. It's only a 5 minute drive to La Tonnara and 10-15 minutes to Castellammare del Golfo and the main road that can take you anywhere you want to go. Giuseppina could not be a better host. She speaks excellent English, is very welcoming and extremely helpful, with tips about where to go and when and how to go there. I would have no hesitation in recommending this for your holiday to Sicily, although don't hire a big car - the steep curving driveway is a nightmare!
