“Outstanding Property & Wonderful Host” 2nd stay at this location. The Granary and this visit The Mistral. Property is outstanding and finished to high specification, home from home. If you are a cyclist this is a perfect location and there is secure bike storage also hose pipe for cleaning bikes. Great for both road and mountain bikes. The perfect hosts Karen & Jeff, nothing is to much trouble to ensure our stay was the best. Last but not least the 3rd member host Tangles the dog, she has the perfect temperament when greeting guests. We will be back again soon.

“Outstanding” This was our first visit and most definitely will not be the last! We stayed in The Granary. The cottage was perfect, providing everything needed, all of which are to the highest standard and quality. The welcome pack was a lovely touch with fabulous goodies. Karen and Jeff were perfect hosts, friendly and welcoming. Jeff was on hand to share his knowledge on fishing and was so kind in providing bait and offering to loan his fishing equipment. Was lovely to meet 'Tangles' too. Such a friendly dog. The farm is set in beautiful surroundings. The pub in the village was a 13 minute walk and well worth a visit. Thank you for a relaxing weekend break. Just what was needed!

“Wonderful place in a lovely setting.” My wife and I and two friends have just returned from a short break at the Shippen. We were met and made most welcome by Karen and Jeff who couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The property is beautifully presented with everything you could possibly need, with quality furnishings and equipment.It is really wheelchair friendly, with easy access both inside and out with a pathway leading from the designated parking area. Should you require any mobility aids they can be made available by prior arrangement. We were here in March, but we were snug and warm with the underfloor heating, and couldn't resist lighting the real log fire (you know how it is - wonderful!) There is a full sized tennis court and on site coarse fishing at no extra charge. This is definitely worth a visit. Don't think about it, just book it. You won't be disappointed.

“What a perfect place - all mod cons and beautiful scenery.” A beautifully converted barn with great facilities set within the perfect location just outside a village with a great pub. The owner is very welcoming and very happy to suggest interesting places to visit. The local market towns are well worth a visit and all are arranged around a central square/main street with good independent shops.
