“understated luxury” We were well in need of a break and the location and quality of this lodge was superb. It provided enough privacy we didnt feel we were on show and yet there were great walks and shops within a close drive for when we needed to get out. Plenty of space, luxurious beds and ensuites gave us time to wind down and we felt truly rested and revived by the time we had to leave. We will defenitly be back for more of that
