Glencoe Cottage is a single-storey annexe situated in the village of Elvington near to York in the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage can sleep two people in one double bedroom with en-suite shower room. The rest of the cottage is open plan with a kitchen, dining area and living area. Outside there's roadside parking 15 yards away. Glencoe Cottage is a romantic cottage in a lovely part of the Yorkshire Wolds.

Town: The attractive village of Elvington lies just 7 miles from the centre of the City of York. Surrounded by open fields and countryside, this popular village has an excellent village store and local pub, adjacent to the village hall which houses local activities. This friendly village has a good community feel and hosts an annual 'scarecrow' exhibition. Close to the village is the Elvington Air Museum, well worth a visit, where there is an annual air show, including the Red Arrows and other famous aircraft. Just four miles from Elvington is the Grimston Bar park and ride, that takes you into the beautiful walled City of York with its numerous attractions, including its majestic Cathedral, the National Railway Museum and the Jorvik Viking Centre. From Elvington there are good road links to both the coast, the Yorkshire Wolds and the North York Moors National Park, enabling it to provide an excellent touring base in a lovely part of the country.
