We had the loveliest break here, thank you so very much. Our hosts were welcoming and accommodating, such lovely people. The accommodation was excellent, warm and cosy and with everything we needed, even a slow cooker! The views from the garden room were delightful, with a vegetable garden infront and fields and hills to the side with horses and ponies and stables behind. We also took full advantage of their outdoor sheltered lounge with log burner and tub chairs. We cosied up in there with blankets, also supplied, and our friends Merlot and Malbec for a warm autumn evening. Honestly perfect, we will be back , Thank you. … see more

Fantastic Stay, well recomended

Needless to say me and my wife were very happy and impressed by our stay in this lodge! To start it off, Hosts were amazing, there was nothing of trouble. Always there for any help. And very welcoming, which we really appreciated. Then the Garden was beautiful and well kept. Really hearing the birds chirping and singing away throughout the day, that is to assume that you come in the spring time or other dry days. Kitchen,toilet and equipment that you will ever need for your holiday are here. Everything is well thought out. Coffee, tea, condiments and cutlery are all washed and cleaned and is just very welcoming. The room is well decorated and is just very comforting. Location wise, it is a very good place to use as a base for any travels in or around Cotswold. It is kind of mid Cotswold, so going north and south is such a breeze. I do recommend having a car for this lodge however, since as the address state, they are pretty much in a hill. Anyway, I can not recommend this place enough, if you are thinking of going to Cotswolds, give this place a try. It is a MUST. Thank you for having us! … see more

The apartment is was nice for our short stay in Stroud area with our family. It was very complete! Only remark I can make is that the location was not accurately show on the booking website. It turned out to be further from Stroud than indicated, but this lead to very pleasant drives through the Cotswold area. … see more
Wisteria Studio
Lovely stay in cosy studio

My boyfriend and I just came back from a 5 night stay in Wisteria studio and honestly couldn’t fault it- its set in a lovely garden with a great view, was very clean and Silke and Geoff even gave a welcome pack of eggs, chocolate, bread, homemade jam and apple juice from the apples in their garden! Plus they have a very cute cat and were very warm and welcoming hosts. The house is within walking distance to at least three pubs- one literally just up the road! There’s also a Tesco express a 10 minute walk away as well as takeaway options (we had difficulty getting a table as we went during the last week of eat out to help out so everywhere was full!). The kings head in France lynch is worth a visit- we finally got to go on our last night! During two very rainy days, the studio was a great escape- and was actually very cosy listening to the rain outside. There is a hob and a microwave oven if you wanted to make your own food. There’s even a washing machine if things got a little too muddy! The location was also very central to lots of things- we never drove more than an hour to get anywhere- slad valley, woodchester Park, Sezincote garden and Berkeley castle are all recommended. Only thing I’d say is watch out for the very steep hills- very picturesque but a bit hairy if you’re not used to driving a lot! Thank you Silke and Geoff for a great ‘stay-cation’! … see more
Bobby's Nook (Est 2013), Cotswold Way - Perfect for Two
One not to be missed

Spent 2 weeks at Bobby's Nook because we were unable to return to our permanent home re water damage. The cottage is fantastically equipped and fully stocked with items such as dishwasher tablets and toilet rolls. Gill and Mike have thought of everything you need.It is warm and has full central heating which we controlled. The cottage is attached to the main house but Gill and Mike are rarely seen. Their kindness is incredible. We were shielding and they made fresh bread, provided milk and eggs when we ran out. We were so impressed.The surrounding area is beautiful with lovely walks. … see more
