“A wonderful family holiday” We were struggling to find somewhere suitable in Tenerife for a family holiday and some winter sun when I came across this amazing place! We wanted to be away from the main tourist areas but close enough to things to keep my 11 year old step son happy, we were also with our 7 month old baby and my mother, so a nice quiet and relaxing place was needed, I can safely say that all boxes were ticked at La Malvasia! The apartment was spotlessly clean with 3 large bedrooms and we each had our own bathroom which was great, the kitchen was well equipped, and the reading room with stunning view was an added bonus, this is where we spent our evenings enjoying a glass or two of the lovely local wine! There are shops within walking distance, a general grocery store which was open all the time and a great little green grocers, bakery and butchers. One evening we had a BBQ and found everything we wanted at these shops including ready made pork kebabs and marinated chicken at the butchers! Our host Cristina was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed; cot, high chair, baby towels and blankets even a baby chair/bouncer which was so useful! Another great provision was that of beach towels and fleecy blankets which we made the most of on the chillier evenings when we still wanted to enjoy the last of the sunshine outside. Thank you Cristina, you made our first proper family holiday a truly memorable one!
