“Pretty much perfect holiday cottage” Great location in easy walking distance to shops and pubs as well as the beach. Well maintained and equipped, vet clean and tidy. The only thing really lacking was a freezer or freezer compartment in the fridge (for ice pack to keep picnics cool) but that is a minor thing. Communication with the owner Kerry was easy and friendly.

“Excellent property in an ideal location” Loom Cottage is located near the centre of Southwold within comfortable walking distance of the sea front, the pier, shops and numerous restaurants. We were only 2 adults in a property that sleeps 4 so lack of space was never an issue. The single bathroom/WC is downstairs with the bedrooms upstairs which might be an issue for an elderly or infirm guest. Kerry and Steve (the property owners) have furnished the property with everything you need to self cater. Plus, the largest collection of DVDs I have come across outside a public library! All in all a delightful break in a super location and even the rain and wind did not spoil the effect :)
