“Excellent Service Throughout - Great location for Bike Park Wales” We cannot pick any faults with the service we received throughout, Jane was excellent and couldn't help enough. Prior to our visit I was in touch and received information on things for us to do and see. Once we arrived Jane was not quite ready for us which was not an issue but she gave us some of our payment back which really was not necessary but we were very grateful for. There was a welcome pack for us containing essentials such as tea and coffee and also a bottle of wine on top of that, this was a really nice touch. We were down there with our bikes to go to Bike Park Wales, the location is great for this. Jane was happy for us to store our bikes in the cottage but there was also a shed out the back if needs be. Would recommend this cottage to anybody and will be staying again if we can when next visiting. Such a great host and lovely cottage.

“Lovely tranquil retreat.” We had a lovely time, a perfect getaway from the busy day to day. The house was cosy, super clean and situated in a beautiful garden with an abundance of plants and wild life, in particular birds. We enjoyed watching the woodpecker and bullfinches feeding off the bird feeder on our patio. The surrounding area had plenty of walks and opportunities for exploring the lovely welsh countryside. Very relaxing and enjoyable with lovely friendly hosts.

“Fantastic cottage” Stayed for 3 days and had such a brilliant time. The owner, Helen, is lovely and the cottage is idyllic with everything you need. We went for the Burning Lantern festival, which was awesome! Visited Cardiff Bay and the very pretty village of Llandaff itself. Can't wait to return! Thank you.

“All you need for a family holiday” Very nice little chalet on an excellent holiday park - ideal for a family with young children. The on-site swimming pool is great - clean, warm and larger than expected. The playground is nice. We didn't try the soft play (which I think is charged separately). Great location just a mile from Port Eynon - you can go to a different beach every day. There is no disturbance from the pub and the chip shop is quite good (though the only fish it serves are cod and plaice). Well stocked shop. You'll want to bring some extra blackout for the children's room. Thoroughly recommended.

“Great place for our visit.” The cottage was a great place for our family visit. Cottage was clean and with 2 parking spaces available which is a premium in Mumbles it was perfect. Not only that, it was only a 2 minute from Joes.

“Outstanding” We have just got back from a short break at shephards cottage. We had an amazing time. The cottage and location is perfect. Lovely walks, bbqs, it was very romantic. We had the best weather we could have hoped for and both came back tanned. Chris and Sandra are a lovely couple, always on hand, but respectful of your privacy. Perfect hosts. Thankyou.

“Reminiscing” Just spent a fabulous 3 nights at No 75, everything catered for all mod cons. Lovely and quiet, granted will be busy “in season”. Many a happy childhood memory in Oxwich, Slade and surrounding area. The chalet was in a good spot and was just what we needed, the only thing lacking was a pub but the hotel down the road has a fab, friendly restaurant and great views with terrific food. Will we go again yes, without the shadow of a doubt.

“Perfect place for relaxing retreat” We had a lovely stay at funchal. It really is a hidden gem, comfortable, clean, roomy. When the sun is out it is perfect for a bbq or alfresco dining, when the sun sets it's a great place for some star gazing. It's set amongst some beautiful scenery, gorgeous beaches and cliffs are a short stroll away. Booking was truly stress free and Liz is a very lovely lady. Highly recommend.

“Home from home” Thank you to Rob for a lovely stay at the Railway cottage which we really enjoyed. The location is so pretty and ideal for visiting Cardiff but also perfect for lovely walks and scenery. We enjoyed a delicious meal at Fagins pub which is a stone throw away. Would highly recommend a stay here.

“This is the apartment to stay in when you visit Swansea” We have stayed in St Margaret's Court the last four times we were in Swansea and can highly recommend it. It is roomy, clean and tidy with everything you could want in the rooms. The view of the bay and Mumbles Head is amazing and you walk down the stairs (or lift) and out of the door onto the beach. In the other direction you can explore the marina and Sainsbury's is just a short walk for provisions. The centre of town is less than 10 minutes walk, so dining out and drinking are easily accessible. For the more cultured, the theatre and cinema are on the nearest side of town. This will be our first choice when we visit Swansea again and you won't be disappointed if you make it yours.

“Beautiful bungalow with a fantastic view” There was a lot to consider when we were planning this holiday as we have three young children (ages 7, 4 and 2) and we wanted a place which was within convenient driving distance of attractions, not too far from the city (Swansea in this case) and close to the beach. Also the bungalow needed to be suitable for young children. WI FI was a priority as unfortunately I needed to take some work with me and ideally cartoon channels for kids. This bungalow ticked all the boxes. Sandra was away so her friend Jen was there to hand over the keys, she was very patient as it took us six hours to arrive from Surrey with kids and our arrival time changed a few times. She had even switched the heating on before we arrived so the bungalow was nice and warm. The bungalow itself was a pleasant surprise, beautiful kitchen and living room, with enough space for kids to run around and play. The owners had recently bought a new travel cot and high chair which was perfect for us. The garden was was nice and clean and it even had a gas BBQ which we used one day and it worked fine. The whole area was very peaceful and quiet. I would recommend stopping at view points on the way if you are travelling from Swansea and visiting the Gower Heritage Centre, which is a 15 min drive from the bungalow. They have a tea room there and the coffee and scones are delicious. The place is child friendly and owners have taken great care to make it as comfortable as possible.

“Great holiday in a fantastic cottage” Clare's cottage is just simply fantastic. We had a very warm welcome from Helen the owner when we arrived. Who gave us some great advice on the best walks nearby and details of all the local amenities. The cottage itself is very cosy and comfortable with everything you could ever need and more! The wood burning stove is great if you just want a nice chillout after a long day walking. The location is very good too as all the local amenities are only 3 miles away in Chepstow, which is a nice little town, and which also has the castle and museum for you too take a look at. There are also some othergreat places to visit nearby the cottage you can find details of them in the excellent welcome pack in the cottage. The garden is lovely, and dog safe. If you are looking for a great place to stay in South Wales we really do recommend Clare's cottage. We can't wait to come back again at some point in 2014.
