“Fabulous, spacious apartment. Highly recommended.” Just spent a week here. The apartment is very spacious, clean and well equipped. There are two bathrooms which is a huge plus and the bedrooms are good sized with plenty of storage space. The balcony is also very spacious with a sea view. My two little grandchildren absolutely loved the pool and spent ages in it (and we had it to ourselves much of the time) The temperature of the water was perfect and it's set in a lovely garden area with umbrellas for shade. The apartment is located in a quiet area but it is quite hilly. Very close to shops, restaurants, etc. and the beach. During the week we went to Cabopino (very short taxi ride away) 4 times. The marina is amazing and there are some excellent restaurants there namely Albert's Bar & Grill, La Lonja and Andy's Beach Bar which are all in an amazing location - marina/beach. Very upmarket area with fabulous yachts moored there but the restaurants are very reasonably priced and the food is beautiful. We also visited the Bioparc at Fuengirola (again a short taxi ride away). It was amazing. The animals looked to be very well cared for and there was plenty of shade. The cafe and gift shop are both excellent. Well worth a visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here (thanks Jo for letting me tag onto my daughters booking xx) Already booked to come back again next year for a fortnight, can't wait to come back. Tracey xx

Lovely relaxing 10 days away

We have been to Sito de Calahonda many times We have a family friend with an apartment in the complex so we know it well. All my family went away so we wanted to all be together and near each-other. The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable and very clean when we arrived. There are plenty of towels if you didn’t want to bring your own beach towels but we used our own and used the other towels for showering. Alain was very accommodating with letting us have the keys earlier as we arrived before lunch. Opposite the apartment block there is a supermarket which stocked most things and a lovely restaurant/cafe Los Olivos which is really great value and the food is good. There are three pools in the complex the big pool is up high near the main block but we only went once as it wasn’t very shallow for the children. We went to the smaller pool behind the first block which was perfect, with plenty of sun-beds plus it was near the other apartment that my parents were using so made it easier. We hired a car as we ventured out further in the evenings for dinner, parking was easy near the apartment, or around the complex There are a few nice restaurants in the el zoco complex near to the apartments or over the road if you use the bridge to cross the main road. All in all it was very relaxing 10 days and if we came back I would def use the apartment again Thank you Alain … see more
