“Luxury Break” This apartment was spacious and exceptionally well appointed with a great view of Sandown and Shanklin from the personal decking area. Being right on the Coastal Pathway it was easy to set off for some great walks in either direction. There was plenty of storage space and the bed and lounge furniture were nice and comfortable. We would not hesitate to book another break at this impressively modernised, clean and well equipped property.

“Wonderful holiday” On our arrival at Seaside View we were warmly welcomed by Mel and Bob, who are lovely people. The appartment is perfectly situated on the Esplanade a stones throw from the beach, with wonderful sea views and handy bus stop nearby. Inside Seaside View it is bright, very well laid out and equipped and spotlessly clean. Everything possible has been thought of to ensure the comfort, ease of travel and stay for holidaymakers, with a great welcome pack of items provided in the kitchen to help out. There is also a very comprehensive folder of information to hand which is extremely useful to help plan days out on the Island. My son and I had a lovely holiday and highly recommend Seaside View as a base for your stay. Thanks again Mel and Bob.

“Cromwell apartment Shanklin, IoW” The apartment was located in a quiet street with little traffic to worry about. The picturesque town of Shanklin was approximately 5 minutes walk away and the beach about the same. The apartment was very luxurious and was extremely clean and obviously well maintained. The large tv with built in DVD player was essential when the weather was poor and the seperate dining area was nice. The bathrooms were very well fitted and the bedrooms were comfortable and homely. It was apparant that a lot of money and time has been spent on bringing the apartment up to the standard it is. There is little to be negative about, although I would say that visitor's need to be fairly fit and healthy as the island has many hills and some of the walks were quite challenging. Also, I would recommend the use of a car as you will want to explore the whole island on your holiday.

“excellent accommodation,” I have stayed here twice recently, first time with with mine and another family over the New year period, second time with a group of girls for birthday weekend. I've stayed in the Eversley and the Mountbatten garden apartment. Both the accommodations are finished to a very high standard and spacious. The apartments are a great base to explore the island, and are walking distance from the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend the apartments and am looking to book again soon.

“Clean and comfortable apartment nicely located for the beach and town, as well as headland walks towards Ventnor.” Excellent accommodation and good value self-catering apartment. We enjoyed a one week stay, taking local walks. It was very nice to come back to a cosy well-appointed apartment each day.

“A very enjoyable experience” We were very impressed with the standard of furnishings and the cleanliness of the apartment on arrival. We took our own duvet because we only use a 1 tog in summer and know from experience that those provided in holiday apartments are too heavy. Being picky we were surprised that baking tins were provided but not pizza tins. The hot tub was very clean and enjoyable to use and the opportunity to use the nearby hotel facilities was great. People in the apartment above us had young children who ran about. The hard floors made their footsteps loud. It only happened during the day and didn't cause us any problems. Overall we were very pleased with the apartment.

“The Courtyard. Excellent, clean, comfy and cosy, but spacious.” We have recently returned from a very pleasant holiday on the Isle of Wight. Our accommodation, The Courtyard, went a long way to making this holiday a success. It was lovely to return each day from exploring the Island, to this cosy comfortable flat. The king size bed was an important factor for us and we found this to be very comfortable. Miriam and Richard go to great lengths to welcome their guests, supplying many useful items in the kitchen, bathroom and even a selection of pillows. Part of the welcome was a delicious sponge cake, which lasted us a week. Thoroughly recommended. The Courtyard is well positioned, a short walk to Shanklin Old Village and chine, and also the main town centre, offering several stores to buy provisions, and a theatre. The island is beautiful, many quaint villages and beaches .We visited the Island many years ago when our children were young, this time it was as a retired couple, to see places suitable to ourselves. We still have not seen it all, but we will return, hopefully to stay at The Courtyard again.
