“Excellent accommodation & location” We stayed at this wonderful accommodation with a group of friends which consisted of 6 adults and 2 small children. There was plenty of room for everyone. Communication from both the owners and manager was fantastic. They accommodated our needs e.g. extra travel cot/highchair/bedding. The kitchen is wonderful and the home-made scones were a very warm welcome! The location is great as it is within walking distance of the town centre, saving on taxis. Also at the accommodation were a number of useful guide books/leaflets and take-away menu's. We had a lovely Chinese take-away! Overall a fantastic house which we would highly recommend!

Find a trendy apartment or condo downtown or rent a summer home in the countryside. holiday rentals are often more affordable than hotels and offer more space and better amenities.

Here are a few specific suggestions for your Dublin getaway:

  • Visit the history museums: Dublin is home to the Kilmainham jail Historical museum, once a notorious jail in the 19th century. Now open to the public for daily tours, the museum is a great place to begin an exploration of Irish history.
  • Visit the Secret Castle of Magic: Come and explore this unusual castle where not everything is what it seems. This is a fun and surprising place for visitors of all ages.
  • Explore St. Michan's Church: The stunning interior and warm welcoming atmosphere of this historic religious site make it a must-see destination when visiting the city.
  • Visit the Chester Beatty Library: Wander the stacks of this fascinating library with manuscripts dating back several centuries.
  • Visit the Dublin Zoo: This modern and beautifully maintained zoo is actually one of the oldest zoos in the world and is dedicated to preservation and public education.
  • Explore the National Botanical Gardens: These gardens are a national treasure and offer a beautiful setting for a walk, bike ride, or picnic.

Luxury Ballsbridge Townhouse
Perfect for our needs

We visited for Dublin Horse Show. Property very close and within walking distance. Good base and contained everything we needed. … see more
3 BEDROOM TOWNHOUSE CLOSE TO CITY
Very centrally located house - homely and comfortable.

The property is located in a very interesting part of Dublin - just a few minutes' walk from many of the main attractions - museums, shops and theatres. The architecture in the surrounding streets is really impressive and the house is located on a street which is very quiet with very little traffic. The house is very comfortable and homely, and there is everything you need. We came in January - the weather was awful, but the house is warm and cosy. An initial problem with the heating was quickly sorted out - John was overseas, but kept us informed and there was supplementary heating to hand. Many thanks to John and Daisie (the charming housekeeper who was there to greet us) for sorting this out so efficiently.see more
The Parnell studio, Kilmainham.
Everything you need...(and more!)

My spouse and I stayed at Parnell Studio for one week and we really enjoyed the place. We found everything we needed and even more.. I think about electric adaptor we forgot : there was one in the studio! You can use wifi connection too. Interior decoration is very nice and the house is so lovely. And the location is excellent too. I mean you can get the bus just outside the house to reach towncenter or even the tram. If I had to add one thing, you can easily get in touch with Grainne & Tim and they are really helpful. We really felt that if we had any problems they could find a solution in no time. Dear Grainne & Tim I wish you the best Hope we ll come again JB & Emma Sorry about my english!see more
The Grace Gifford cottage.
Perfect Trip!

We very much enjoyed our visit to Dublin. We could not have picked a better week with the weather. The apartment was perfect! It was great to be able to come "home" and be able to eat and rest for the next adventure. Perfect location for the tram which we used daily. And the extra touch of Valerie coming over and "kicking" on the heater before we got home in the evening was awesome, it was nice walking into a warm and cozy home. We took the homeowner up on the offer of having a driver pick us up from the airport, which was the best way to start our trip. The driver was there, waiting for us when we walked through customs. On our way to the rental, he showed us tram stops and gave us suggestions on restaurants, town history, etc. What a way to welcome us to this country! We enjoyed his insight so much that we actually used him to take us back to the airport. Thank you for the hospitality, although not sure when we will visit again, I will keep your contact information for the future. Our next adventure may be Italy ;-) My sister and I try to plan a trip every year.see more
Stunning Sea View Apartment located on the beach
As It says Stunning Seaside View Apartment

We stayed at this lovely apartment for a long weekend. It was really nice, very clean and well kitted out for all our needs for our stay. The apartment is right on the beach and the views from the window are amazing you can even here the waves while you sleep which was lovely and very relaxing. The lovely welcoming owner Mary was there to greet us on our arrival and explain to us all the ins and outs of the workings of the apartment and also gave us very good advice on local buses, trains etc. Prior to our arrival Mary had offered to arrange our taxi pick up at the airport which was really helpful. Michael the local taxi driver picked us up he was fab and very informative on the area giving us great advice on how to go about what we wanted to do over the weekend. The apartment is just a short walk from the town of Rush which is a beautiful wee town. We tried out all 6 pubs and found them all to be very nice and welcoming especially Walsh's with its lively friendly atmosphere. There is also plenty of eating places in Rush and we especially liked the Harbour Bar which was a 5 minute stroll along the beach from the apartment. Rush also has some lovely shops and a big Tesco to buy provisions. During our stay we also visited Dublin city center which is only a 20 minute taxi journey or you could use the local services but we chose to get Michael again who took us straight to the area we wanted to be in "Temple Bar". Dublin is a lovely lively city and a must to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment and would highly recommend it. Whether you want a quiet relaxing holiday or a lively one this apartment and location ticks all the boxes for a great holiday and we cant wait to return.see more

Great stay in a beautiful part of the country

We had a wonderful time at Mary's flat. It was very well equipped, warm, clean - and Mary made us feel at home on arrival. It is right on the beach and really close to lots of great places to eat. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ireland and Dublin! … see more
