“Great accommodation in an amazing location!” We (my sister and me) have stayed in antonella's apartment during our Easter vacation to Rome. It was our first trip to Rome and it's important for us to have a good home base in this wonderful city in a good location. And this apartment is a gem, and we're very happy we've found it and stayed there! First of all, the biggest advantage of this apartment is its location. The apartment is situated in an old authentic Roman building, and Coliseum is right near the house. In fact you have a view of Coliseum from the main entrance of the building. The narrow street, where the apartment is situated, goes from Coliseum to Cavour street, and there you have a variety of transport to take you around town, including Cavour metro station. Termini train station is about 15 minutes walking. In fact we didn't use buses and metro a lot during our stay. All major attractions are within walking distance from the apartment, except Vatican. You can walk to the Forum, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, etc. The apartment itself is in a very secure building. It's has a living room with a sofa, tv, kitchenette, a bedroom with bed which can easily used by two, and a very nice bathroom. All appliances are provided, including a variety of cutlery, towels, essentially everything you might need. The windows of the apartment go out to the tranquil internal courtyard with orange trees. It's very quiet in the apartment at night and during a day. Antonella herself is a very nice person! She met us at the apartment, showed us everything, and the whole process of renting the apartment was quick and very efficient! To summarize, if I go back to Rome (which I'm sure I would) I'd stay at antonella's apartment again!

“Our perfect vacation in Rome!” We live in Perth, Australia, so we were looking for a place in Rome that would give us an easy access to all the major tourist attractions. Having chosen this modern apartment, we were not disappointed. The photos did its complete justice and we got what we were hoping for. From the original booking to our arrival we could not fault the service, Cristina was the best help we could ever get. When we arrived she walked us to the apartment and spend a great amount of time showing us through every aspect of the apartment, she also provide us booklets with tons of information. Cristina also show us a couple of great local restaurants, shops and transport. From the amenities (wonderful grocery shopping and everything is at one's doorstep) to the facility to get to any place in the city in a convenient and timely manner (the metro is a two minute walk away and you can practically walk anywhere as you are at the centre of it all) ). We have no hesitation to recommend this apartment to everyone.

“Wonderful quaint apartment!!” We loved everything about the apartment! Beginning with David arranging for a driver. David greeted us, went through over all the details and also he gave us great tips on what to see and where to eat! Location was amazing, we went everywhere just with the tram n 8 which pass very frequently and enjoyed experiencing Rome on our way!! The apartment was perfect, clean, well supplied with everything plus extras, the coffee was the best I had in Rome!!! The jacuzzi was god sent ! Thank you once again David you area great host and we would love to come back again!!!

“The most amazing time…!” The Walnut Nest was the most comfortable place I could imagine to stay at while away, with ample space you can easily relax & feel at home. With a large dining & living area, it meant we could enjoy a nice breakfast in the morning before leaving for Rome centre, & coming back in the evening to lounge in the living area - provided with access to TV & DVD player. The area is generally quiet & a safe place to stay, at times we'd get back from Rome centre after midnight, & the area would be so tranquil. The Biocca family were extremely welcoming & accommodating, which added to the pleasant experience while living in Rome. Being away in a group of 6 girls, we felt safe knowing we had caring owners living right above us; we were certainly taken care of. Any problems, we could instantly contact Maurizio, & he would get back to us in minutes! The Biocca's went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay; we were even gifted with a bike, & had instant access to Wi-Fi so Skype-ing home wasn't a problem. Buses are a 5-10 minute walk from the villa & they go straight to the train station where you can get to Rome centre. On the day of arrival, we visited a beautiful restaurant at the bottom of the street, called Ristorante al-Confessionale, if you want great food at a decent price, you can't go wrong, & being students, cheap was a must for us! There's a number of supermarkets close by so getting groceries was never a problem. There's also a beautiful beach in Ostia, which is roughly about a 20 minute bus ride from the villa, which is a must-see attraction & a nice Gelateria place just a 10 minute walk from the villa. In terms of accessibility, there are really no objections, getting from a to B anywhere is easy! (Even if you aren't the occasional map-reader!) All-in-all seeing Rome was amazing but our experience at the Walnut Nest was a complete separate enjoyment, it's a great place to stay & the warmth of the area instantly makes you feel at home!

“Feel at home in Rome!” With the driver waiting at the airport we arrived very comfortable at our apartment in a beautiful housing area of Rome near the Vatican. Mary showed us around and gave us all the informations we needed - not only for the house, but as well for shopping, eating, sight-seeing and public transport nearby. The appartment is well equiped, you have everything you want in the kitchen, bathroom and - not to forget - in the wonderful garden. We now know that there are two more reasons to visit Rome: this beautiful place where we spent relaxing and interesting days, and the wonderful Mary who - like the best italian mother - makes you feel comfortable and answers all your questions.
