Ol Pejeta Bush Camp is a traditional, very comfortable tented bush camp on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro river, and is the home of owner-manager Alex Hunter. The camp is set in nearly 100,000 acres in the Laikipia region of central Kenya, right on the Equator next to Mount Kenya itself. Ol Pejeta Conservancy has the highest resident game-to-area ratio of any park or reserve in Kenya. There is incredible wildlife viewing and a fantastic array of activities, without your stay being marred by seeing a lot of other vehicles. Most nights from your tent after dinner, you will hear lions roar and leopards grunting, after an evening round the camp fire admiring a sensationally starry sky. Accommodation consists of 5 large tents which can all act as double, twin or family rooms. This means the camp can accommodate a total of 12-14 guests in total. All tents are situated along the river. The accommodation style is of a traditional, and comfortable safari camp.
