Explore the French Alps and ski chalets in France - The Rhone area offers everything the holidaymaker could want; from a flurry of activities such as fishing, canoeing and watersports on the mighty Rhone itself, to the busy city of Lyon, France’s gastronomic capital. To the east the Alps offer some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in Europe and some of the world’s most prestigious ski resorts, including Chamonix and Meribel, are among the 70 ski stations in the region.
