Wildlife and climate attract visitors to Cyprus
Wildlife and climate attract visitors to CyprusIt is Cyprus' temperate climate and unique wildlife that makes the country particularly popular with tourists, it has been claimed.

These factors, along with improvements to Paphos airport, mean that an increasing number of property market speculators are investing in the region, Simon Cozzolino, a spokesperson for property development firm Pafilia, has suggested.

"The island has 340 days of sunshine, cool winters, hot summers," he explained.

"There are a number of indigenous species in Cyprus so wildlife is an attraction. The extent of mountainous, natural beauty is incredible."

According to Mr Cozzolino, investors in Cyprus now make up around 60 per cent of the property market.

As a result of this increasing interest, he predicts that flights to the country will get cheaper and cheaper as competition intensifies.

"I believe AlphaJet are going to run a service, easyJet probably will as well," Mr Cozzolino confirmed.
