Croatia's Zagreb touted as holiday homes hotspot
Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, is being touted as the next eastern European hotspot of holiday homes buyers, thanks to a combination of low property prices and attractive surroundings.Currently, Croatia is experiencing a rapid increasing in the number of tourists visiting and holidaying in the country, with forecasters predicting continued growth in the tourist industry somewhere in the region of seven per cent per year – significantly higher than its European neighbours.
And according to Easier.com, many British property investors are already seeing significant returns of up to 20 per cent per year on the value of property bough in the city, on top of rental income from tourists wishing to experience the city, using rented accommodation as a base.
Holiday home owners are also benefiting from the large student and young professional populations in the city, meaning that they are able to rent out property out of tourist season.
