Berlin investors to get expert advice
A seminar is being held later this month to help property investors get the most of out of one of the hottest new markets, Germany.Experts from Berlin Capital Investments will be putting themselves at the disposal of investors at a two-day event at Belfast's Hilton Hotel on November 24 and 25.
"With such low prices and a greatly improving German economy there is a great deal of interest in the German market at present. We have found in this relatively new market that many investors are put off by not knowing about legal, tax and finance issues," said managing director Julian Power.
Compared to most other European capitals, Berlin remains very cheap. However, since reunification in 1990, the formerly divided city has rapidly been reasserting its position at the centre of German life.
Also unlike the rest of Europe, Germany has yet to experience a property boom. Home ownership is only 43 per cent, so long term rental potential is massive.
"This is their best opportunity to learn about the implications and practicalities of buying in Berlin," Mr Power added.
