Portugal's Silver Coast 'offers investment bargains'
The Silver Coast area of Portugal offers property investors a lot for their money, one expert claims.According to John Reilly, managing director of Buy Abroad, the area is much cheaper than established regions such as the Algarve.
"It [the Silver Coast] is considered an up-and-coming area. For what you pay for an apartment in the Algarve you can get a villa in the Silver Coast, in places like Nazere," he said.
However, this does not mean that the Algarve is not a good place to buy, he added.
The more established area should suit those looking to make a long-term investment, Mr Reilly explained.
Meanwhile, the Silver Coast is likely to see price rises in the coming year, meaning people might be able to realise a quick profit if that is what they are looking for, he concluded.
Channel 4 property show A Place In The Sun recently listed Portugal as the third most profitable European country to invest in.
