Egyptian market 'will keep on growing'
Overseas investment and new airline routes are combining to make Egypt an attractive location for those looking to buy a holiday home, it has been claimed.Paul Collins, property editor at BuyAssociation, explained that the country is not only attractive to UK-based buyers, but also to those from
Russia,
France and
Italy.
According to Mr Collins this means that Egypt has the "potential to keep on growing" as the market is supported by money from more than one country.
"If you add to that the fact that easyJet has started flying out to Egypt this year - those routes just started at Easter - that really gives an indication of how the tourist market is doing and the growth that's still possible out there," he said.
Last month, Tahir Ali, managing director of Egypt Revealed, claimed that the property market in the country is undergoing a period of rapid expansion.
The fact that Egypt's tourism industry is also growing should help to establish the holiday rental market in the country, he added.
