Ronaldo looking at rental apartments in Madrid
As he tries to sell his UK home, Cristiano Ronaldo is looking for an apartment in Madrid. Ronaldo has decided to rent, rather than buy.
Manchester United sold Ronaldo to Real Madrid for a record £80m. The footballer is now looking at
Madrid apartments available on the rental market, according to
Spanish Property Insight.
Due to his transfer to Real Madrid, Ronaldo is reported to want a city centre penthouse with at least five en suite bedrooms. The apartment must be fully furnished, have a large terrace and a pool.
It is thought that Ronaldo is renting instead of buying as "football stars tend to move on sooner or later". He could be trying to avoid the fate of David and Victoria Beckham - the couple bought a
villa in Madrid when David was playing for Real Madrid, but have been unable to sell it despite dropping the asking price by £2m.
