Paul McCartney buying New York apartment to be close to Nancy Shevell

Sir Paul McCartney is reported to be buying an apartment in New York. McCartney is house hunting in the US in order to be close to his American girlfriend Nancy Shevell.
McCartney is thought to be looking for an apartment in
New York close to the home of
girlfriend Nancy Shevell, who lives in an Upper East Side residence, claims the-world-in-focus.com.
The former Beatle already owns a
holiday home in New York, but is said to be unhappy with the property in West 54th Street. The property, which he has owned since the 1980s and where he spent a lot of time with
ex-wife Heather Mills, is near the
Museum of Modern Art, which recently added a glass facade enabling visitors a clear view into McCartney's home.
"Paul has been looking at eight-figure apartments. I think he just wants to rid himself of the Heather factor," a source said.
McCartney has been dating
American heiress Shevell since last year.
