Brad Pitt is looking to build an airport at his chateau in France. Pitt, who lives with his partner Angelina Jolie, wants to avoid the paparazzi.
Pitt and Jolie are currently transforming Chateau Miravel into their dream home. The Jolie-Pitt's luxurious home in
France is set on a 1,000 acre estate, but the family wants to buy more land.
A source told the New York Post:"One thing he loves about the estate is the privacy it affords. Nobody can get near it. So with Angelina completing her pilot's licence, their own airstrip would give the total freedom to come and go."
If Pitt does go ahead with the airstrip, it will add to the estate's already significant outdoor amenities. Chateau Miravel includes a vineyard, forest and moat. The family paid £35m for the estate and are now spending a further £10m on renovations.
