Angelina Jolie moves from Provence villa to hospital in Nice for the birth of twins
Angelina Jolie has checked into a hospital in Nice, near her French villa which she shares with her partner Brad Pitt, in preparation for the birth of her twins.
Earlier this year, Jolie and Pitt moved into a 17th century villa in the
Provence village of Correns. Pregnant Jolie is doing well in the hospital in
Nice, close to Jolie and Pitt's villa in
France.
Jolie arrived at the hospital in Nice by helicopter on Sunday, reports Reuters, and has a suite of rooms which are sealed off by bodyguards. At a news conference, Dr Michel Sussman said: "Mrs Angelina Jolie and...Mr Brad Pitt told me to let you know that she is doing just fine at the moment. She is a patient like any other...for whom I have a great deal of respect."
Sussman added that he could not confirm when the birth of Jolie's twins would happen but said that he expected it to be in the next few weeks.
Jolie and Pitt already have four children, one is their biological child Shiloh, born in Namibia in 2006, and the other three are adopted.
