Ryanair has announced 14 new routes for this winter. Eight of the new routes will operate to/from Edinburgh.

The news comes after Ryanair announced it was closing nine out of its 10 routes from Manchester Airport. The routes to/from Edinburgh will benefit owners Tenerife apartments as well as those in Lanzarote and Gran Canaria.

There will also be new routes between Edinburgh and Barcelona (Girona), Brussels (Charleroi), Oslo (Torp), Gdansk and Memmingen (Munich West). All of the new Edinburgh routes will start between October 30 and November 4.

Apartments in Madrid will become more accessible for travellers from Morocco, with new routes between the Spanish capital and Marrakesh, Fez, Tangier and Nador. These routes will commence on November 4 and 5.

From November 4, new Ryanair routes will also operate between Dusseldorf (Weeze) and Agadir and Fez. To celebrate all its new routes, Ryanair is offering one million seats at four euros, for travel in Europe in late September, October and November. These tickets are available for booking before midnight this Sunday.
