Rental bargains available near Egypt's hotels
Rental bargains available near Egypt's hotelsRental properties in Egypt built near to big hotels have an advantage over other holiday homes, stemming from their access to hotel facilities.

With many of Egypt’s Red Sea tourist hotspots lacking in any sort of other development for many miles, the presence of an international hotel – complete with pools, restaurants and sporting facilities – can be a major draw.

"Some of the really good properties that you can get in Egypt are actually within the grounds of the large hotels. The Four Seasons have got a really good development in Sharm el Sheikh within the grounds, and you get access to the hotel facilities," said Paul Collins, a spokesperson for Buy Association.

"If you're buying on these resort based developments the rental yield can be really good but don't forget you're starting off from a low base so you're not necessarily getting rich quick, but in comparison to what you're paying out initially it can be really good."

Egypt is a massive tourist destination, but its property sector has hardly been tapped into by western investors.
