Michael Jackson renting Rod Stewart's mansion during July O2 concerts

Michael Jackson, who has recently announced a series of 10 comeback concerts at London's O2 arena, will be renting Rod Stewart's mansion during his time in England. Jackson will be staying in Stewart's Essex home during his 'This Is It' residency at the O2 in July.
Stewart's
property in Essex is just three and a half miles from
Greater London, according to The Sun. Set among the 180 acre Copped Hall estate, the mansion also has a five-a-side football pitch.
Tickets for the
Michael Jackson O2 concerts go on sale on Friday and are expected to be snapped up in seconds. However, before he takes to the stage in London, Jackson will be releasing a new single, concert promoter Randy Phillips told the paper. "There will be a new Michael Jackson single before the first date," he said.
It is also thought copies of a
new album could be handed out to fans at Jackson's London concerts. "Michael has got some new music and he is looking for a new way of disseminating his material to his fans," Phillips added. The promoter also hinted at what fans could expect from the concerts visually: "He wants to use some technical effects that have never been seen before."
Jackson has not performed a full length concert since 1997. The
This Is It concerts begin on July 8 and finish on July 28.
