Leona Lewis renting Hollywood villa

Leona Lewis is renting a villa in the Hollywood Hills. Lewis, who won The X Factor in 2006, also has a home in Hackney, in London's East End. The singer is recording her new album in the US.
Lewis, 24, is paying £7,000 a month for her new Hollywood home, according to The Daily Mail. The luxury
LA villa is in sharp contrast to the singer's
apartment in London - the two bedroom property that she shares with boyfriend Lou Al-Chaama cost just £120,000.
The five bedroom villa in Hollywood has a swimming pool and outside bar. Inside, the property's stylish furnishings include flat screen TVs and a leather sofa.
Lewis will split her time between her London flat and Hollywood, although she previously said that she could not bear to uproot herself from the UK. However, a friend told the paper: "She plans to spend a lot more time out in the States at her new home...She thought it made sense as she is recording her
new album out there. She will also need to spend a lot of time promoting her album as she really wants to crack America."
Following her victory in The X Factor, Lewis was given a recording contract with the label owned by
Simon Cowell. Cowell, who also created Britain's Got Talent, now has a new star in the making -
Susan Boyle, the 47 year old Scottish singer who took the show's audience and judges by surprise with her performance of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Misérables. Boyle has since gone on to appear on Oprah Winfrey's US talk show, while the clip of her performance on Britain's Got Talent has been seen by over 26 million people on YouTube.
