Strike threatens flights to/from Portugal this Saturday
Flights to/from Portugal could be disrupted this weekend if a one day strike by workers at TAP Portugal goes ahead. The union representing cabin crew at Portugal's flagship carrier has called for industrial action on December 20.

In the event of a strike by cabin crew, passengers should expect severe delays and/or flight cancellations. To try and minimise disruption, TAP Portugal has several options in place for its customers.

The airline is advising anyone who hasn't yet booked to consider travelling on alternative dates. Passengers who already have bookings for this Saturday can change their flights free of charge, subject to availability. Alternatively, travellers wanting to cancel their travel plans can claim a full refund by contacting the airline.

However, TAP Portugal assures its customers that it is in discussions with the union and is confident it can resolve the dispute without the need for industrial action. Passengers are advised to check flytap.com or call 0845 601 0932 for the latest information.
