Continental pilot dies in-flight to New York

A Continental Airlines pilot has died in-flight. The plane was travelling from Brussels to Newark, New York, and is still scheduled to land at its destination.
The cause of the pilot's death is unknown, reports msnbc.com. The Boeing 777 is due to land in Newark at 12pm (local time). The first officer is reported to have taken control of the plane.
The safety of the passengers is not at risk, Paul McMarthy, a former pilot, told the news agency. "If you have a pilot and a first officer, the first officer is fully qualified to operate the plane."
