Wookey Hole offering witch job

Wookey Hole is advertising for a witch. The caves in Somerset are willing to pay £50,000 per year to the successful applicant for the witch job.
Wookey Hole, a popular attraction with those renting
cottages in Somerset, is holding auditions for its witch job on July 28. "Ambitious witches looking for a key career move should turn up dressed for work and bring any essential witch accoutrements" on the day of interview. A limited range of "potion ingredients" will be available.
Applicants must be able to cackle but shouldn't be allergic to cats. Live in accommodation will be provided in a spacious cave and the witch will "go about her everyday business as a hag", the advert stipulates. The aim is to give visitors a sense of what the caves were like in the Dark Ages.
"There are a lot of disgruntled witches living around the country," fears Wookey Hole. "Wearing pointy black hats and black hessian drapes, they're reduced to casting spells while sitting on a sofa in front of a 38" flat-screen TV in a suburban semi....Not the des res, executive, no mod cons, windswept blasted heath of their dreams."
The caves' new witch will be a good communicator and prepared to travel. They will also be expected to work at weekends and during school holidays. The post is open to both men and women.
