Virgin Atlantic launches print from home service
Virgin Atlantic launches print from home serviceHolidaymakers flying with Virgin Atlantic can now print off their boarding passes from home.

The airline has launched a new service which will allow passengers in destinations where online check-in is available to print off their passes using their home printer.

Passengers can already check in online up to 24 hours before flying, but Virgin has introduced this new print at home service in a bid to simplify the process even further.

Under this new system, any passengers going on a short holiday or business trip and taking only hand luggage with them will be able to go straight to security, bypassing check-in.

"We are excited to be able to offer this convenient facility to our passengers which means that from the comfort of their own home, they can simply log on, check in and print off the boarding pass ensuring themselves a seamless journey through the airport," said Steve Ridgway, CEO of Virgin Atlantic.

"We believe that online check-in will increase popularity with the introduction of home printed boarding passes for passengers. Currently up to 27 percent of our passengers check in online and we predict this will grow to around 40 percent by the end of the year."
