TAP Portugal strikes possible
TAP Portugal strikes possible

TAP Portugal strikes are possible this weekend. Workers are currently in deadlock with the airline's management.
Portugal's flagship carrier is advising passengers that strike action could take place today and tomorrow. It is not yet clear whether industrial action is going ahead, but those travelling to/from
Portugal villas should be aware.
The TAP Portugal strikes would affect ground operations at all Portuguese airports. This could result in delays, flight cancellations and disruption for passengers.
Those passengers due to fly today and tomorrow are advised to travel with hand luggage only where possible. Travellers are being urged to use the carrier's online check in facilities and to arrive at the airport early, especially when departing from Portugal.
Anyone with confirmed bookings can change to travel on an alternative date free of charge, subject to availability. Alternatively, passengers can opt for a full refund. Customers are advised to check flytap.com or phone 0845 601 0932 for the latest information.
