The balcony is complete with outdoor furniture for alfresco dining with views to the Ütliberg. You can take a beautiful walk straight from the apartment up Ütliberg, where you can sit and have a light lunch, afternoon tea or a la carte dining in style while enjoying breathtaking views over the whole of Zürich. Switzerland offers so much for those looking for a sightseeing and active outdoor holiday or a winter break combining a city visit with some skiing or snowboarding. The vast amount of lakes and mountains provide a stunning scenery at all times and an excellent opportunity for hiking, swimming, sailing, canoeing or winter sports. Zürich with its splendid lake and boat rides to cafés and restaurants along its shores as well as the neighbouring countryside offer a rich choice of activities with plenty to do for all.
Zurich area
Zürich is Switzerland's largest city and known as a major contemporary art and shopping destination. Important artworks are displayed in the numerous galleries such as Kunsthaus and the Rietberg Museum. Shopping in the famous Bahnhofstrasse and Niederdorf is a must, as is strolling along the old town with its quaint cobbled streets and old churches. A visit to the ancient Fraumünster church with its slender blue steeple and Marc Chagall's stained glass windows is well worth it. Sample some of Zürich's 500 clubs and bars, including some which can be found in the many open air swimming pools. Let yourself be swept away with the pulse of life until the early hours. This city on the Lake Zürich is also renowned for its amazing array of traditional and modern restaurants with international and local cuisine and its excellent public transport with a well established free bike rental system.
How to get there
Flights are offered from all London Airports. Also worth checking for special offer flights to Basel-Mulhouse (direct trains from Basel to Zürich take 54 minutes) There are cheap flights from Luton to Geneva with Easy Jet. Geneva is 2 hours away by train.

It consists of a large livingroom, leading onto the open plan dining room with wide double French doors leading onto the spacious balcony. There are two good-sized bedrooms and a study. The main bedroom has a kingsize double bed, the second bedroom has two single beds. There are two bathrooms with toilets. There is a cot and highchair if required.
Further details outdoors: You will not need a car while you are holidaying in Zürich. Its excellent transport system of trams, buses and trains, boats and cablecars lets you enjoy an abundance of sightseeing attractions in and out of this magnificent city. Explore its 30 mile long lake, exclusive shopping experience in Bahnhofstrasse, enjoy the culinary delights of authentic Swiss dishes in some of the renowned restaurants in the old town with its quaint alleys and traditional pubs and bistros. Visit museums, concert halls, theatres & galleries, bars & nightclubs. Experience the surrounding area, the famous Pilatus looking down on Lucerne with its stunning lake, or the alpine skiing resorts of Flumserberg and Flims only an hour and a half away by car or 2 hours by train.
