The Kyrenia District

Zeytinlik is a beautiful ancient village with a good selection of local restaurants serving local dishes. The villa is set in its own private development of 27 homes. It has marvellous views of the mountains, Hilarion castle and the coast. It is a very peaceful and tranquil setting.
Kyrenia with its picturesque harbour, shops and restaurants is only 5 minutes drive away.Kyrenia harbour is a popular visitors attraction with its waterside cafe terraces surrouding a busy horseshoe shaped harbour which in the summer is full up with cruise vessels and working boats.

Zeytinlik area

Among the places to visit here are the Abbey of Bellapaise, St. Hilarion Castle, Girne Castle , harbour and museum. There are a number of beaches nearby and Escape beach is well worth a visit with excellent facitlities and a little island to swim out to.The island has an ideal climate where in autumn, winter and spring it comes to life with Olive and Carob trees, a wide variety of fruit, melons, grapes and vegetables where visitors come to admire the variety of flowers which includes over 30 species. Hundreds of thousands of birds pass through the island when flying between the Nile Delta on the migration route making it an ideal destination for the visitors interested in birdlife.

How to get there

You can fly to North Cyprus airport Ercan, 35 mins drive from Kyrenia using Kibris Turkish Airlines(KTHY) Turkish Airlines (THY) ONUR Air or Green Island Holidays telephone 020 7637 7338.
EU citizens can now fly into the south of the Island to sepend their holiday(max stay 3 months).The nearest airport is Larnaca. Transfer time is approximately 75 mins. Air fares to the south much cheaper with direct flights and a good choice of Departure airports. Car hire and transfers can be arranged. Air 2000, BA and Cyprus airways are a few of the airlines that fly to Larnaca

The kitchen boasts a combination microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, hob and hot cold water dispenser machine. The villa has been furnished a a very high standard with all the modern conveniences you would expect to find in a kitchen. The dining table has 8 chairs and there are 2 sofa beds and 2 matching chairs. A lovely open fireplace provides warmth for the chilly autumn/winter evenings. The master bedroom has a balcony and is tastefully furnished with dressing table and bedside tables/ lamps. Ample storage space, all bedrooms have their own wall to wall wardrobes.

Further details outdoors:
There is a front terrace and sunbeds with cushions to be used in the garden or around the pool. There is also a back patio area with BBQ and an outside table and chairs. There is room for 3 cars in the drive with large iron gates to secure your vehicle. The very large comunal pool is opposite the villa.

Towels and linen are included please provide your own beach towels. The villa is cleaned once a week and you will receive a welcome pack on arrival. A holiday information pack awaits your arrival and a personalised welcome note. You will receive a courtesy visit within 24 hours of arrival to make sure all is OK.

Conditions

Deposit is 20% of the rental, if someone cancelled after booking we would require 50% of the inital deposit of 20%. the deposit once paid is non-returnable to the client.
The balance of the rental is to be paid 6-8 weeks prior to departure date. Should a client cancel 28 days prior to their departure a cancellation charge equal to the total holiday price will be pyable less their deposit. However if we are able to relet for the duration of their holiday only the deposit will be lost.
Prices shown are weekly for up to 6 people sharing the villa per week. Additional persons (up to 10 )£50.00 per person per week.
