Vitalis is situated in an excellent position only 5 minutes to the Matterhorn ski departure station and just a 5 minute walk from the village centre. It sits in a tranquil forested area where a family of deer come to graze daily and can be seen from the balcony leading from the lounge. There is a second balcony leading from the second bedroom that looks over the village of Zermatt and the surrounding mountains.
This lovely spacious (108 m2) attic apartment (lift) is on 2 floors and comprises 2 bedrooms, one double (upstairs) with en-suite bathroom (shower / wc) and one double / triple, and has a second bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub. Both bathrooms were renovated in 2011.
It has an open-plan fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar. The dining area leads on from the kitchen and you can comfortably seat six at the table. The lounge has a 3 seater sofa and 2 large arm chairs. An ideal place to relax after a day in the mountains.
There is cable TV with English channels including BBC, ITV and Cbeebies for those with children.
There is a telephone which is free to use for local calls and free wireless internet connection.
There is also radio/CD & DVD and an iPod docking station.

The second bedroom has a twin which can be separated into two singles or put together to make a double. There is an extra single bed in this room too.
A welcome pack is provided with fresh fruit, local wine, milk, fresh flowers and a variety of tea and coffee.
Maps are provided along with extensive information regarding the apartment and Zermatt itself.
Guests are welcomed on arrival by a multi-lingual representative offering help, advice and information about the resort and to accompany them to the apartment by taxi.

The car free resort of Zermatt is situated at the foot of the Matterhorn in Switzerland and offers access to a ski area of over 400km, connected to Cervinia in Italy. The village is situated at 1560m and with the highest cable car at 3888m it ensures excellent skiing in the winter & great glacier skiing in the summer. A climbers and hikers paradise with 38 peaks over four-thousand metres and breathtaking views Zermatt has something to suit everyone.
