This tastefully refurbished house is situated directly across from the Moselle river with river views from the windows. This accommodation is for four people, either adults or a family and sleeps 4-6 (2 on the sofabed).

Come and make yourself at home in our comfortable house in the beautiful and historic wine village of Zell Mosel situated directly on the banks of the famous Mosel river.

Ground floor. Entrance hall with coat hanging space, door to the modern dining room with large windows overlooking the river, a further entrance to the modern well equipped Kitchen with dining table with microwave, electric hob , refrigerator and deep freeze, dishwasher, cupboards, sink unit, coffee machine, kettle, toaster,all crockery provided. Stairs from hall to first floor leads you to the Bedroom with double bed with superb Mosel view.

The second door leads to the beautiful Living room that is very comfortable also with a stunning Mosel view. From the Living room it leads to the Master bedroom which can only be described as The most Romantic bedroom on the Mosel with luxury fittings and beddings and an orthopedic mattress for a great nights sleep, you will not want to leave.

River views are enjoyed from the dining room which give a pleasant atmosphere at meal times.

Parking is available directly outside the front of the house on the street or in the free car parks

A complimentary bottle of Zell wine awaits you which will be a most memorable visit to this beautiful area.

For an additional cost we have 4 adult bikes, 2 x Ladies, 2 x Men's and they are 5 Euro each per day, they are equipped with safety helmets and lights.

The Rhineland/Rhine Valley region

Ski: The Eifel is the nearest ski region. About 80 kms north from Zell, for alpine skiers Hohe-Acht Jammelshofen is attractive. This area also has about 8 km of cross-country trails. Close to the village Daun, 45 kms north of Zell, there are two separate small skiing areas, the Mäuseberg and the cross-country skiing center, Ernstberg.

Other Eifel locations: Hollerath-Udenbreth has a cross-country skiing center, Weißer Stein, with about 27 km of trails and two small ski lifts. Monschau has a small ski area, Wintersportzentrum Monschau-Röhren. Prüm has two small ski areas, Wolfsschlucht and Schwarzer Mann, both with about 10 km of cross-country and several small lifts.

Zell

Golf: Golf Club Cochem Mosel (18 holes) is approximately 35 kilometres away. Drive along the river in the direction of Cochem to the villages of Ediger-Eller on the northern bank. The next village is Senhals. Here, turn off the river and take the K22 in a northerly direction up onto the plateau The golf course is about 5 kms from Senhals. The club has a website.

Golf Club Hahn (9 holes) is only 20 kms to the south and was built by the Americans in 1954 and modernised in 1996.

Golf Club Trier lies about 40 kms to the west near the village of Ensch.

Golf Cub Edelstein Hunsruck lies about 40 kms to the south ner the village of Kirschweiler.

Zell has it's own wonderfull outdoor/indoor pool and certainly enough to keep the family happy and occupied.

Hiking amongst the many trails or rent our bikes and ride down the Mosel bike paths and see the many ancient ruins in the area.

You cant miss a boat trip on the Moselle during your holiday. Zell is famous for its wine: 'de Zeller Schwarze Katz' and you can enjoy the tasty wines in many places near the holiday home. Great visits in the area which are worth the effort are Bernkastel-Kues (40 km.), historic Cochem (28 km.), Trier (68 km.) and Koblenz (70 km.)

Zell is a small, lovely village on the Mosel and has various shops, good restaurants and friendly street cafes, and of course, many wine bars. You can discover the surrounding area on foot, cycling or in the car. Dont forget to take a tour on the river to, for example, Bernkastel-Kues or Cochem.

The old historic city Zell, situated directly on the Mosel River has a pedestrian area where you can sample many different culinary delights. Zell and the surrounding area have many wine festivals and events from spring time until late autumn. Apart from hiking and cycling along the Mosel and in the vineyards, the area offers endless possibilities such as: Adventure Forest, thermal baths, paragliding, water sports, golf, tennis and more. The surrounding 5 to 80 km offers many sightseeing excursions to castles, the steepest vineyards in Europe, cloisters, 2000 year old Roman ruins and Germany's oldest city Trier.
