The house Cuxborn is situated within the centre of the beautiful town of Zell. Vineyards extend for miles along both sides of the valley, clinging to steep, stony hillsides. Vines gently scramble from one house-front to another in the town’s ancient streets. Everywhere the visitor is warmly welcomed – & invited to taste the Black Cat wines.

Today, Zell is an ideal spot in which to relax & savour the true character of the Moselle region and its people; a genuine working wine-town unspoilt by mass tourism. Its promenade running beside the calm & level waters of the Moselle create an atmosphere that refreshes body and spirit.

At a more practical level, Zell offers a number of satisfying outdoor pursuits: swimming in modern indoor & open-air pools at the “Erlebnisbad” (a combination of a swimming and sauna centre, which is free on your birthday!), fishing, rowing, miniature golf and open-air chess . . . and, of course, wandering to your heart’s content over vine-clad hillsides.

Separate Utility Room with washing machine. Lounge and separate Kitchen Diner on First Floor. Satellite TV with DVD in Lounge.

Three double bedrooms. (2 on Second floor 1 with WC and hand basin and 1 with hand basin only. 1 on Third Floor). Sun terrace off 2nd bedroom.

Bathroom -newly fitted with toilet hand basin and shower.

Attic relaxation room with 2 large Velux windows opening out to the vineyards so that the room can be used all year round.

All rooms newly furnished and decorated.

Linen, towels and electricity all provided/included.

Will also take short stays. Minimum 3 nights from 45 euros for two persons per night 7.50 euros each per extra persons per night.

There is a 35 euro cleaning charge paid locally.

Owners live next door so can answer any queries you have during your stay.
