Home description
Set in the convenient but quiet Zell am See suburb of Schuttdorf, the apartment offers easy access to all the winter and summer activities that Zell am See has to offer.
Occupying half of the top floor of a traditional chalet-style block, this huge apartment offers breathtaking mountain views from every window. The other top-floor apartment is not directly connected so you can be sure of a good night's sleep.
The apartment is located in a residential area, away from any busy roads. You can walk to the Areitbahn gondola in 10 minutes, along a pedestrian route shared only with bicycles. The lake is a similar distance, also along a quiet route. Local amenities, such as shops, restaurants, bars and children’s play areas are a few minutes walk away. Bus and tram stops are also nearby and offer quick, reliable connections to the town centre, the two championship golf courses, the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and places of interest.

The Austrian Alps / Salzburgerland / Salzburgerland region
Variety is the spice of life and Austria has this to offer in abundance! Whether you are looking for outdoor adventure or the classic feel of the urban centres, you'll be spoilt for choice. Art, music and architecture vie with adventurous high altitude pursuits for your attention. Good food, good service and a family friendly atmosphere give you the level of hospitality the Austrians are renowned for. All the perfect ingredients needed for a fantastic holiday.
The Salzburgerland region offers many diverse places of interest. Salzburg itself is described as a Baroque jewel and is of course associated with the kitsch classic "The Sound of Music". Moving away from Salzburg, the region's natural environment is particularly fantastic. The Hohe Tauern National Park, a high alpine nature reserve, invites you to view it's rich flora and fauna and spectacular mountain peaks, while a visit to the Krimmler Wasserfalle, to experience the cascading torrent of the Krimmler Ache, is truly memorable.
Zell Am See area
Nestled between the Schmittenhohe mountain and one of Austria's most picturesque lakes, the medieval town of Zell am See is the perfect alpine destination.
In winter it is a Mecca for winter sports enthusiasts, offering snow-sure skiing and snowboarding to an altitude of 3200m. For the non-skiers there's plenty of other activities available, like ice skating on the frozen lake, winter hiking, horse riding through the snow, tobogganing, or simply the opportunity to relax in one of the many mountain huts and enjoy the view.
In summer, the number of activities available is vast, and includes; hiking, golf, mountain biking, horse riding, tennis and glacier skiing and snowboarding. The lake, which can reach 23 degrees in the summer, provides a spectacular backdrop for the many water-sports on offer, including; swimming, windsurfing, sailing and water-skiing.
