The Island of Malta region

The Maltese islands

Malta is known as an area in the world that packs in so many and such a variety of ancient relics and places to see as the Capital City Valletta which is adorned with beautiful baroque buildings and churches, the Three Cities which is the oldest urban part of Malta's harbor area, Mdina which is Malta's old capital city ant it is characterized by medieval as well as baroque architecture and much more places to visit.

At the very dawn of civilization, the Maltese built massive, megalithic temples, which are now regarded as the oldest , free- standing buildings in the world, older than the Pyramids.

Malta is known of this

- The knights

- The pastizzi

- Nights out in Paceville

- The festival and fireworks

- The beaches - The islands' beaches are small and perfectly formed; there are also some breathtakingly beautiful coves to swim in. This is also one of the world's finest places to go diving, with a wealth of sites ranging from sunken WWII bombers to dramatic undersea caves. To cap it all, much of what you'll eat will come from the sea's bounty.

- The Maltese traditional food

- The traditional folklore music ( called '''Ghana'' )

This is Malta and this is the place to visit during the 4 seasons .

Zejtun, lying in the south-eastern part of Malta, covers the top of a hill, that dominates the nearby of Marsaxlokk known as fishing villages St Thomas Bay and Marsacala which are popular ports of call for all Mediterranean sailors since Phonecian times. The 3 ports also provided convenient landing beaches for invaders.

The property is just few minute away from the rocky and sandy beaches as 8 min at 4.5 km to St' Thomas Bay and 7 min at 4.3 km to Pretty Bay. Beaches in the north are never more than 30 minutes drive. Local coastal villages offer a huge variety of restaurants. It's just 4 min at 1.9km to the fishing village of Marsaxlokk well known for its fresh fish restaurants

In Zejtun there are numbers of historic place that one can visit as Parish Church of St. Catherine, Luqa Briffa Garden, Old Parish Church (St. Gregory's), the Olive Press, Torri Mamo

Zejtun is originating from Phoenician and Semetic Arbic meaning the fruit of the olive tree. In Arbic '' Zaytun'', Turkish '' Zejtin'' and Spanish and Portugese where Arab culture flourished found as '' Aceituna'' and '' Azeituna'' respectively. In Maltese itself the world is now used only as place name and the word ''zebbug'' is now used both of Zejtun is '' Frott iz-Zebbug ISMI'' (my name is the fruit of olive tree).
