About this location

The Alentejo region

Alentejo and Vicentina Coast is one of the most beautiful and best preserved coastal areas of southern Europe, with over 100 km of Natural Park, wild beaches and a fascinating rural culture.

Although recent, the offer of nature activities in the region is quite varied: observation and interpretation of the natural environment, horseback riding, mountain bike riding, trekking with donkeys, surfing, canoeing, diving, fishing or boat riding.

Zambujeira do Mar

The feast honouring Our Lady of the Sea, one of the religious figures most dear to Zambujeira, where a symbolic blessing of the sea takes place, is one of the most awaited moments of the festivities evoking one of the protectors of the local fishermen.

Zambujeira do Mar Beach, Shaped by the cliff, it is one of the most sought after spots in the region. As all of the other beaches in this area, it's bordered by small beaches both north and south, making great refuges to those wishing to avoid the bustling of crowds, and enjoy moments of true relaxation and contact with nature.

Ruime, gezellige, mooi ingerichte woonkamer, goede slaapkamers.
