Two bedroom villas, located direct on our private beach, on the outskirts of the town often referred to as one of Zante’s best kept secrets. Quiet and peaceful, yet only ten minutes from the larger resorts such as Tsilivi or Alykes, the villas have easy access to all amenities, including the local market, and many excellent beach front restaurants for eating out. The villa benefits from its own private beach with a shallow end crystal clean waters, perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with stunning sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double and one twin bedroom, the villa is ideal for couples or for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Ionian Islands region
The Ionian Islands are located in the Ionian Sea, in the western part of Greece. The Ionian Sea is also called the Adriatic sea. The Ionian are some of the most popular Greek islands and attract a lot of people from the United Kingdom. They are composed of Corfu, Lefkada, Kefalonia, Zakunthos, Ithaca, Paxoi, Kythira and some others. These islands are known for their beautiful beaches, their charming villages and their verdant landscapes To give you some history about the islands, settlements have been found on the islands dating as far back as 50,000 B.C. These people most likely crossed via land bridges to the main land when during the last ice age when the water level was lower. All of the islands are in reality just the peeks of submerged mountains. The mountains are the result of plate tectonics as well as volcanic activity which gives them very fertile soil. Unfortunately, because they are so rugged, it is hard to grow anything on the islands. Ithika and Kefallonia are known for mainly goat farming as well as grapes.
The islands have known their share of invaders. It was mostly Venetian, French and English.
Since all of the islands have similar origins, they all have the same terrain. They are all very mountainous, though some get more rain than others due to whether patterns and rain shadows. They have both white sand and pebble (rock) beaches. They also all have impressive cliffs that overlook the some of the bluest water of all of Greece.
Zakynthos / Amoudi - Psarou Beach area
The area of Aboula Psarou is situated between the resorts of Amoudi and Tsilivi on the North East coast of the island of Zakynthos just 12 km off Zante town. You will not find a more idyllic spot anywhere on the island. A quiet and peaceful haven located with magnificent views over the Ionian Sea where on a clear day you can see out to the island of Kefalonia. The pretty cove with its private sandy beach with crystal clear sea is an ideal place to relax soaking up the sun The surrounding countryside provides interesting walks. Within short walking distance 50 to 200 metres long you can find many typical Greek tavernas minimarkets and bakery for your daily needs. Fly to Zakynthos (Zante) International Airport - Porta del Mar Beach Villas are just 16 Km from the airport. We provide Taxi service from Airport to Porta del Mar with only euro 23 (after arrangment). Cheap flights are available (charter flights) from all U.K. and Irish Airports to Zakynthos (Zante) Island. We will be happy to arrange for you Car hire at the best rates! There are always local taxis available - fare is euro 10 for Tsilivi resort, 12 euro for Zante Town, 7 euro for Alykes resort.

Further details indoors: This is one of the 4 two bedroom villas forming a small complex of traditional beachfront stone houses with direct access to our private beach and spacious gardens, all with amazing sea views (Please check also the rest villas, we advertise in holidaylettings. The houses can accommodate from 2-6 persons each. All villas are superbly furnished and tastefully decorated in keeping with the traditional style. Spacious living rooms. Very large comfortable bedrooms, air conditioned. Fully equipped kitchens with cooker, big fridge/freezer, wooden table that seats 4-6 and full range of utensils. Spacious bathrooms (the two storey houses have two bathrooms, one up stairs and one downstairs). Balconies and large verandas, fully equipped, all offering panoramic sea views! The attention to detail is fantastic with many extras. The villas include: telephone, TV, hairdryer, kettle, toaster, safe, iron, filter coffee maker, daily maid services, 24 hour hot water and linen provided and changed twice a week.

We have arrived back in Cardiff safe and sound,unfortunatly the car had a flat battery,so we had to find someone to jump start the car!

Dear Tasos and Pavlina Thanks so much for making us so welcome at your lovely place, we got back to London on Sunday despite the earthquake which hit while we were at the airport, scary! Just a 1.5 hour delay to our departure. I hope your son in Patras is okay as we hear that is the centre of the earthquake?
We had a beautiful holiday and are of course very sad to be back in UK and at work again Sad but hope to come and stay with you again next year, probably from 22 May to 31 May if Nephele is available?
