About the home

Two-storey villa located in a completely private complex of 14 other villas. The property has two bedrooms and is fitted out to the highest standards, offering the quality and feel of a luxury villa but with the convenience, security and price of a holiday apartment. The home was completed in June 2007 and is tastefully and uniquely decorated.
To ensure your relaxation and privacy Kalamaki Court has two private swimming pools, children’s pool, plenty of loungers, BBQ area and outside showers. Surrounded by olive trees and mountains and yet is only two minutes walk to the nearest supermarket and bakery and five mins walk to the famed Michaelo's restaurant. There is ample parking with the complex.

The bedrooms and downstairs living area have individual air conditioning units which are operated independently. Two bedrooms with separate entrances to the large balcony upstairs. Stunning views of countryside. Bathroom has a large shower area with glass doors, it also has a sink and toilet. Shelving for towels and an organiser, large mirror. Each bedroom has two wardrobes, shelves, drawers, side lockers, bedside lamps, large mirrors. Safety deposit box. Downstairs the kitchen is fully fitted. Living room has a pull out corner sofa, coffee table, tv/dvd. There is also a storage cupboard downstairs which has shelves, ironing board etc.

Zakynthos is the “Flower of the Orient” – an island of exceptional beauty, the west is characterised by striking mountain scenery and is largely uninhabited and the east is packed with fertile plains, picturesque bays and long sandy beaches. The island has a mild climate which is typically Mediterranean, hot in the summer and mild in the winter. The mild winters and winter rainfalls help with the lush green countryside. The island has pine clad mountains, olive, citrus groves and vineyards. There are many hidden coves and superb sandy beaches, such as the famous “Shipwreck Beach” to contrast with the beautiful greek countryside.

The Zakynthos / Kalamaki Village area

Kalamaki is a quiet yet sophisticated resort with one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. Part of the beach is restricted for turtles to use as a breeding ground. It is a nice sandy beach. There are several restaurants and bars in Kalamaki where you can while away the night dining and dancing. Just 3km away is Lagana, a very popular resort where you can enjoy the nightlife, and just 5 km away is Zakynthos, the capital town.

Our second visit to Kalamaki Court was just as good as the first one!
I've never been to such a wonderful clean, safe environment for our
children, who are 6 and 4. The villas are perfect, close to the pool so
that our children could go inside during the hot part of the day, and we
could still laze about round the pool, knowing they were safe and within
easy earshot. It is one better than a secluded villa as the children have
the opportunity to make friends and entertain each other. Kalamaki itself
is just a short walk away and this is a fantastic family resort. We often
stayed out till nearly midnight, it was still lively but not drunks in
sight or bad language to be heard. A perfect holiday!
