About the home

This stunning stone-built villa which has only just been completed on the island of Zante in Greece. it has over 100 sq mts internal space plus extra external areas, front and rear verandas ,,and balcony area with table and chairs.. the villa is situated in a beautiful quiet location set among olive groves. The swimming pool is absolutely gorgeous, and has been specialy designed to compliment the villa. We have a large traditional barbecue for relaxing al fresco dining. The balcony views of surrounding area and villages are breathtaking. a welcome pack will be provided for our guests.

The villa is a 15 min walk to a beautiful award winning sandy beach of Porto Kukla and situated in an area on the island that does not close after the end of October, has a local bakery, and friendly Greek family-run tavernas. .... It is close to all amenities, a mere 7km from Zante airport, and only a 15 min drive to to Zante town. A short 10 minutes drive takes you to the beach at Agios Sostis where there are restaurants and a new marine park which is now open.. also a agios sostis there is available boat hire,or you can be taken for a trip to see the loggerhead turtles! The weather is still often warm and sunny in the winter months, making this ideal for winter sun breaks, a perfect getaway for both children and adults..long winter rentals available,at attractive rates,,

The villa has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge / freezer, washing machine etc, also has air conditioning,solar panel heating,and key safe.also dvd player & flatsceen tv..

the villa has 3 upstairs bedrooms. bedroom one,has double bed,and beautiful balcony..bedroom two has double bed,bedroom three has two single beds.. each bedroom has built in wardrobes .each bedroom is tastully decorated,and each has bedside cabinets,and bedside reading lamps. the viila upstairs has bathroom,with shower,sink & wc.
downstairs the villa is equipped with sofa bed sleeps two,,also shower sink &wc.. lovely open plan kitchen,.
living room and dining area.
Highchair available upon request,as is a cot.(these do not incur additional cost..)

Large walled private garden over 1000 sq mts with exterior lights, surrounded by olive groves and olive trees.there is also now lemon & orange trees..
Good sized private pool.with stone built B.B.Q....these gardens are very well maintained,and feature automatic sprinklers...there is ample room on private driveway for parking cars..

The Zakynthos / Zante area

Porto Koukla is considered to be one of the finest beaches on Zante, it retains traditional Greek flavours and has an air of tranquillity perfect for anyone wishing to unwind while sunbathing and swimming with stunning surrounding in the background. There are local tavernas, and bars, all of which have a relaxed and welcoming feel- ideal for a lovely, unforgetable night out..
the new marine park at agios sostis, is well worth a visit,especially for the children,,and is very close by.
also a must is a visit to keri caves and famous shipwreck..only a few minutes drive away..
the beautiful town of zante with its stunning harbour ,is approx 15mins from villa..

If you want a great deal and can fly from londons gatwick ..:::then try easyjet as from may 2010 fly direct to zante,at amazing prices,,great for families on a budget..

direct flights to athens...from many intrnational airports...if flying to athens from the uk try easyjet amazing value for money.(often under £100 pounds return incuding airport taxes)you can then take a domestic flight (olympic airways) which takes approx 45 minsto zante..
or on arrival at athens you can take a bus,although a long jouney,take route through some beautiful scenery including the famous corinth canal,and into kilini,where a ferry boat can be taken to zante harbour..total time of journey is aprox 5 hours..this includes both bus jouney 4 hours and ferry 1 hour.total cost of one way ticket is approx 25 euros(for both bus &ferry)there are 4 -6 ferry depatures from killina each day..
for those flying directly to zante ,also known as zakinthos,the olive grove villa is easily reached as it is only a short taxi/ car ride away ,approx 10km away time 15 mins.

“A Beautiful villa in a wonderful location” Set in the heart of the olive groves, the villa was much more than we expected. We went to Zante to get married and wanted to stay in the real Greece.This certainly is a sample of real Greece. The photos don't do the villa anywhere near as much justice as it deserves - it's gorgeous, the location is perfectly quiet and private, and you have easy access to local shops and tavernas. The island is fantastic and the people are great. We found the villa was perfect for us. Very clean, spacious and extremely well maintained. Perfect for groups, families or anyone wanting a relaxing holiday. We will definitely be going back to Olive Grove Villa. A big thanks to Dennis and Vasso

“Superb facilities, great location 10 out of 10” Fantastic example of a modern Zakynthos Villa with fabulous facilities and a great location for a quiet, relaxing holiday. More than enough room for 6 adults and 2 children. Lots of room for the children to play, private pool and BBQ. Good range of utensils, TV, safety deposit box on site. Although the villa is within walking distance to the beach, would recommend hiring a cars as the villa is set in olive groves away from the main resorts, transportation is also handy for food supplies and exploring the island. Booking was completely hassle free and the owners and maintenance staff were a pleasure to deal with. Would not hesitate to go back. One of the beat Villas I have stayed in on the island - thoroughly recommend it

we had a lovely time at the olive grove villa...the villa is in a fantastic location for a relaxing family holiday,and was particularly ideal for us with a ten month old baby...the villa was also ony 10 to 15 mins ftrom airport,and we found several great eating places nearby...we highly reccomen freddos....
we had a great time,and would not hesitate to stay at your villa again..

we were very pleased with the villa,it was sat in a fabulous plot bordering fields of olive trees.
internally ,the villa offered everything we could wish for,from a tv and dvd player to a fully equipped kitcthen,air conditioning and a washing machine,,we realy could not want for anything,there was even an abundant supply of towels..we had a fabulous stay and would not hesitate to go back to zante and stay in olive grove villa..
