About the home

Villa Keri View offers luxury and space and is located in the stunning harbour resort of Keri in Zante. Beautifully designed and immaculately furnished, it is a perfect choice for an extra special holiday.

Internally, the villa is impressive in size, grandeur and detail. The grand entrance leads to the kitchen and dining area on one side of the house and to the comfortable lounge area complete with pool table on the other. There is a double bedroom and bath room on the ground level, allowing for guests with mobility restrictions.

Upstairs the four bedrooms are light and individually decorated. The front bedrooms have large french windows that open out on to private balconies with views over the old lake.

The large and inviting pool is surrounded by lawned gardens and has sun loungers. The villa is gated and offers on site parking.

The location is ideal, only a stroll away from the beach and sea front tavernas. Keri is a wonderful area and suprisingly has a lot to offer even though it is traditionally a Greek village. Established family fish restaurants and tavernas line the harbour. There are a handful of bars and coffee shops, a well stocked mini market and a bakery serving fresh bread.

The sea is generally calm as the bay is sheltered, offering great swimming. The beach is mostly large pebbles but does have a sandy end. Sun loungers and unbrellas can be hired.

Keri has lots to offer and we recommend a visit to the original hillside village of Keri, with its original stone built cottages and village life, before continuing to the lighthouse on the cliff tops. Here the views are simply tremendous. Keri is the place to relax, explore and enjoy traditional life.

Holiday Villas in Zante

Zante is an island with something for everybody. Depending on where you are, you'll discover an island with bustling night life, quiet and relaxed beaches, great sight seeing opportunities and traditional, local celebrations, food and restaurants. There's loads to do on this one island.

The landscape is as varied as the activities too, with beaches and resorts along the south and east coasts, whilst the north and west are mountainous, ending in cliffs that can drop hundreds of feet into the sea. Regardless of which part of the island you want to see, our villas in Zante will allow you to do so.

If you want to explore Zante's towns, then the Southern and Eastern portions of the island are where you'll want to head. Zakynthos Town is the island's capital and is where you'll find the main shopping district and the town's piazza. Despite being the capital, you won't find much nightlife here, and are better off heading to Laganas, which has plenty of nightclubs and bars. During the day, you'll also find restaurants along the beach front. If you're after a quieter, more family friendly resort, then we have a selection of our villas in Zante that place you in the town of Tsilivi, which has fewer nightclubs, more restaurants and markets and a beachfront with plenty of watersports available.

Those interested in the history of the island won't be disappointed either. It was mentioned in Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, and was conquered by the kingdom of Kefalonia over a number of years. Its more recent history is much more detail though, as the island was hit by two major earthquakes in 1953 that levelled most of the buildings there. The capital only had three buildings left standing. Since then, Zante has had strict building regulations in place and has survived repeated tectonic rumbles.

For sightseers staying in our villas in Zante, the island has a lot to offer. The most famous spot is the shipwrecked smuggler ship, which washed ashore in 1981. It has become a postcard favourite, as the ship, with its tall masts and perfect settling, looks like something straight out of a film set or painting. The small cove in which it has come to rest is one of Zante's most beautiful, and trips to head out and see the boat set out every day.

The Blue Caves are another favourite with holiday makers. There are a number of them around the coast, created by the sea eating into the cliffs and creating deep pools of azure blue water. They look spectacular during sunrise, and boats are available for a trip there all day every day. However, the best option is to rent your own boat and make the trip yourself. You can look around at your leisure and see what happens to the water as the light changes. Afterwards, instead of being taken straight back to the shore, you can take a tour of the coast and admire the coves and cliffs that appear on Zante's postcards.

With summer temperatures hitting an average of 30°C, Zante's beaches are very popular with holiday makers. Luckily, they're big enough to easily cope, and it's possible to find somewhere to yourself at any time of the year. Along with long stretches of sand, plenty of beachside restaurants and bars, and great sunbed facilities, watersports, including some great snorkelling opportunities, are available at many of Zante's beaches.
