About the home

At the village of Vasilikos one finds the most beautiful beaches of Zakynthos ( Gerakas, Porto Roma, Banana, Porto Zoro and Daphni which is the favourite nesting area of the rare sea-turtle Carretta- Carreta). The tourist development at Vasilikos has been very carefully planned.

Consequently, accommodation consists mainly of traditional flats, detached villas and small hotels. The Ammos villas are a group of traditional stone houses located only 100m from the biggest and most beautiful beaches in Zakynthos, next to the centre of the village of Vasilikos. We are currently renting one apartment in the complex

The ground floor apartment consist of two separate bedrooms with double and single beds; two bathrooms; fully equipped kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, kettle and all utensils, lounge area, air-conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player and furnished verandas over looking the gardens.

The countryside is full of green ravines, scrubs with cypress trees and hollies, large and small olive groves, a few grape vines and a beautiful pine forest.

The Ammos is situated in the settlement called Potamia which is just 150m from the sandy beach and is included within the National Marine Park of Zakynthos which was created for the protection of the endangered loggerhead sea turtles known locally as Caretta-Caretta.
