The Ionian Islands region
ZANTE - Situated south of Kefallonia in the Ionian Sea. It is an island steeped in culture enriched by a historical past and renowned for its breathtaking beauty. The island is known as the "Flower of the East" with its pine clad mountains, olive and citrus groves and vineyards. Countless coves and superb sandy beaches contrast with dramatic white cliffs and an impressive rocky coastline that includes the amazing shipwreck at Smuggler's Cove.
The Zakynthos / Tsilivi area
Tsilivi offers a good range of nightlife within a traditional village atmpsphere. The area is full of olive, lemon and fig trees and its fantastic EU Blue Flat Beach gas 2km of soft sand and clear water. A haven for sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts. There are many day trips available e.g. Kefallonia, the greek mainland Olympia (where 1st Olympic Games were held) and boat trips to the nesting ground of the famous loggerhead turtle at Marathonisi Island, the Blue Caves and to see the amazing shipwreck at Navaggio. The south of the island Keri witnesses a spectacular sunset.

Left our husbands at home and a wonderful "girlie" week at Sunset villa. It had everything you could wish for. Peaceful, Private villa. Well equipped every kitchen facility you would need. Three spacious bedrooms with balconies and those fantastic views across the sea. Indoor dining room, breakfast bar, outdoor eating area by the pool. Quaint patio/garden for morning cuppa.Laundry room. two bathrooms. Rooms all spacious, villa very clean and bright, tastefully decorated. Peaceful location near the Balkony restaurant, a nice stroll down to the beach or in to town. Lisa from the property management co available to help if needed (we had no problems, but we did appreciate our welcome pack). Last but not least Mike our lovely pool guy who was always happy to help with anything we needed to know about the resort or the island. Can't wait to go again, will take my husband next time. |

Guestbook for Sunset Villa
Recent reviews of the villa have been "Our flight was delayed so we arrived a couple of hours later than expected with a tired party of six (inc. four teenagers!). The villa is breathtakingly beautiful, fully equipped and tastefully furnished with a fabulous view and pool which we all immediately took advantage of before having supper in the nearby hotel which has an exceptional standard. It really is only 5 mins walk to the nearest supermarket, with a further 5 mins to the beautiful beach. It is a delight to come home to the villa, with superb air con, pool and TV facilities for those who want them. Maintenance of the property is both discreet & helpful - contacts are great - we could not have wished more from our holiday & look forward to a speedy return".
