Home description
At the front of the house are wide open terraces providing flexible sitting and eating areas, there is also a built-in barbecue on the main dining terrace.
The house is decorated with an eclectic mix of furniture from all around the world; it is very stylish and shows great attention to detail. The 15 metre infinity pool is situated below the villa and is salt-chlorinated. It has a delightful covered eating area, with pool fridge and shower, as well as loungers and large umbrellas. The terraced grounds abound with wild flowers in the spring and colourful shrubs in summer.
All the rooms have large French windows leading out on to a long covered terrace with views to the swimming pool and beyond. The old olive grower's cottage, close to the front door, has its own covered terrace leading on to a paved courtyard, partially shaded by ancient olive trees.

The Ionian Islands region
The villa is located in Skinari in the Northern part of Zakynthos. Zakynthos is a beautiful island, next door to Kefalonia. The island is very green in comparison to other Greek islands, and the Northern end of the island is totally unspoilt.
Zakynthos area
Whilst the southern end of Zakynthos does not have the greatest reputation about, the north end of the island has completely escaped the mass-tourism, quick-profit orientated development completely, this end of the island is green, with very few roads and even less development , it is still today as it was 20 years ago. Beautiful, unspoilt, characterful.
How to get there
From the UK there are many charter airlines that fly directly to Zakynthos airport. There are also indirect flights via Athens with Schedule airlines. The airport is 45 minutes drive to The Peligoni Club and the villa itself. The best and most reliable car hire company to use is Budget Car Hire.
