High up on the mountain, it takes complete advantage of the cooler evenings, making it a fantastic host for barbecues and al fresco dining.
The main house has a large split-level room with a kitchen/dining area and a sitting room which opens onto the large terrace and the elegant dining table. A fairly steep, open-tread staircase leads up to a galleried study, which has stunning views out to the sea. The outside terrace offers a beautiful barbecue and large outdoor dining area, perfect for entertaining and absorbing the breathtaking views.
Kapsalia is a very private villa, set in extensive gardens, with a variety of outdoor terraces and a large swimming pool.

Zakynthos is a beautiful island, next door to Kefalonia. The island is very green in comparison to other Greek islands, and the Northern end of the island is totally unspoilt.

There is a lot to do! The Peligoni Club is a sailing and windsurfing club, which is a 10 minutes drive from The Kapsalia, They offer tuition for water skiing, windsurfing, wake boarding and sailing. The club also has a tennis court, swimming pool and a restaurant. You can hire a boat from the Peligoni Club and also the local port or sign up for a boat trip to Shipwreck and Blue Caves! There are a lot of hidden coves and beaches which are totally private and secluded!
How to get there
There are direct flights from most UK airports to Zakynthos (Zante). The villa is 45 minutes drive from the airport so a hire car is strongly advised. The most reliable hire company to use is Budget Car Hire

Kapasalia benefits from a self contained bothy, perfect for a couple who want some peace and quiet. The bothy has one bedroom, with twin beds, a separate kitchen, living area and its own bathroom. All the bedrooms, including the bothy, have ceiling fans.
