"Cosy apartment on a fantastic location"

We stayed for two nigths and our host Karolina was really nice picking us up from the bus station as the first day was raining.

She was helpful and gave us a few tips on how to enjoy our visit to Zakopane as well as expending some time with us showing the apartment.

There is a bus stop 10 min walk from the property and I would recommed using the chairlifts at least once (15min walk uphill from the apartment) as the views are awesome.

The bus 56 leaves you in the bus stop I mentioned above (Salamandra area) and I would recommend you taking a photo of the schedule if you are staying a few days as they don't pass very often.

Overall a fantastic experience that I am hoping to repeat in the future.

Thank you for your review.

We are really happy that you enjoyed your stay and the apartment. We are so happy the weather cleared up the second day for you to enjoy the beautiful views from the apartment.
Hope to host you or your friends in the future.

Kind regards.

"Cosy Fabulous apartment - perfect for couples!"

Small (but cosy) apartment with a fabulous view over Zakopane. The amenities were top notch, and the organisers (Kara and Retha from Raka travel) went out of their way to think of everything.... Breakfast goodies were supplied, great selection of DVDs for those rainy days, walking sticks, umbrellas, AWESOME coffee machine - no expense was spared or any eventuality overlooked! As English speakers, we were looked after so taxis could be ordered. As hikers, Retha was fabulous in showing us where to go, how to get there and facilitated everything so that our hiking was superb (there was nothing she could do about the rain on the first day unfortunately ;-) Excellent hiking trails, amazing scenery and walks to suit every level. After a day out it was great to get home and just relax on the sofa with a movie. The apartment is above town (hence the gorgeous views), but it's easy enough to walk to the chairlifts and get a lift down. Loved my stay, would definitely go back (certainly in the winter to try my hand at skiing!)

"Very romantic cozy and good value"

From the moment we arrived to this apartment to the minute we left we were so well taken care of by Retha, The flat was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Internet TV, DVDs and a fridge full of food. In particular I loved hearing the birds in the morning. If you would like to get away this is the spot to go. I would classify it as 5 star accomadation. It is a 10 minute taxi ride to the centre of the town. Should cost about £6.00. The local mountains are really set up for hiking, one of the most organized I have seen. The other nice thing about the area is that you get a real good local feel. Its very traditional and you will know you are in Poland.
